Gold Coins: play money, for fun

Gold Coins are what you play with most of the time - on the sportsbook, in the slots and in the house games. They have no cash value and can never be withdrawn, exchanged or redeemed. They exist so you can play every game on the site without risking anything.

Sweeps Coins, or SC, are HuffBet's sweepstakes coin. You cannot buy them. They are given away free, and SC you win in play can be redeemed for a prize - 1 SC redeems for 1 USDC or 1 USDT, two dollar-pegged stablecoins.

Where Sweeps Coins come from:

2 SC when you sign up.
1 SC a day - the daily Sweeps Coin, first available 24 hours after signup. Every claim restarts its own 24-hour timer; unclaimed rewards do not stack.
Level-ups - 0.1 SC every level, plus 1 SC at Silver, 2 SC at Gold, 5 SC at Platinum and 10 SC at Emerald.
A free gift with Gold Coin packs - from 10 SC with the smallest pack up to 210 SC with the largest. The pack is sold for its Gold Coins; the SC comes free with it.

Switching between the two

The balance at the top of the page is a switch. Pick Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins and every bet and every spin you make uses that coin until you switch back. The two balances never mix: a Gold Coin win stays in Gold Coins, an SC win stays in SC.

Sweeps Coins have their own lower limits. A house game round takes at most 25 SC, and every sports market has its own SC stake limit.

Playthrough: why free SC must be played first

Free Sweeps Coins have to be played through before they can be redeemed - 3 times the amount you were given. Get 2 SC and you play 6 SC of eligible bets and spins; that is all. The wallet's Withdraw tab shows how far along you are.

Not every bet counts the same:

A sports single counts at odds of 1.50 or more; a combo at total odds of 1.50 or more, every selection at 1.20 or more.
Slot spins count at 50% of their stake. Feature buys do not count.
House games count part of each stake, by how big the house edge is.
Each match counts once, at the largest stake you had counted on it.
