Suppose a fighter wins by submission in round two of a scheduled three-round fight. A pick on that fighter to win, a submission-method pick on the fighter and a round-two finish pick all fit the result. A pick for the fight to go the distance loses.
For a straightforward fighter-to-win pick, a submission victory by that fighter counts. If the slip specifies a knockout, the method matters.
The finish can happen on either side of the halfway point of round two. Check the recorded time and the market terms for the total.
