Padel betting

Padel is played in pairs on an enclosed court about 20 by 10 metres, with glass and mesh walls the ball may come off after it bounces. Serves are hit underarm, and the scoring is the same as tennis: points, games and sets, usually the best of three sets with a tiebreak at six games all. Many events play a deciding point at deuce, so games end quickly and a set can turn in a few minutes.

Because the four players stay close to the net and rallies are long, breaks of serve are far more common than in tennis. That is what makes padel lively to follow in play: a pair two games down is rarely out of the set.

Competitions

The top men's and women's pairs meet on the Premier Padel tour, from Majors to P1 and P2 events, and in the season-ending Finals. A1 Padel runs a second professional tour, and the FIP circuit and national championships fill the calendar below them.

Questions people ask

How is a padel match scored?

Like tennis: points (15, 30, 40), games and sets, usually best of three sets with a tiebreak at six games all. Many events play a single deciding point at deuce instead of advantage.

Can I bet on padel live?

Yes. Live padel matches appear at the top of this page with prices that move point by point while the match is played.

Why are padel matches hard to call?

Breaks of serve are common, so a pair that falls behind often comes back within the same set. Leads are less safe than in tennis.
