How a 3-1 final reads on a slip

In the 2025 PVL Invitational final, Kobe Shinwa University won the opening set 25-21. PLDT High Speed Hitters took the next three sets, including a 31-29 second set. Here is how different picks would read against that result.

• First-set winner. Kobe won this pick even though PLDT won the match.
• Exact match score. PLDT to win 3-1 fits the result. A 3-0 pick needed a straight-sets win.
• Total sets. Over 3.5 sets needed a fourth set. Both a 3-1 finish and a 3-2 finish meet that condition.

What does a PVL player prop measure?

A player prop follows a named player and a specific statistic. For example, over 2.5 blocks needs at least three blocks from that player. Her points from attacks and serves do not count toward a blocks pick. Check the player, statistic and period on the slip. The selection varies by fixture.

What does a -1.5 set handicap mean?

The selected team needs to win by at least two sets. PLDT winning 3-1 covers -1.5 sets. Winning 3-2 would fall short.
